J. Mark Russell, DVM
Dr. Mark Russell, a 1994 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, was born and raised in Claiborne County. He returned to Harrogate in 1999 to start Russell Veterinary Services. He enjoys the variety of a mixed-animal practice and has a special interest in surgery.
Dr. Ramsey
Dr. Ramsey is a 2005 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She started her career here with us shortly after graduating in July 2005. Growing up on a small farm in Hancock County and graduating from Lincoln Memorial University for her undergraduate studies she has always felt at home in Harrogate, TN.
Dr. Morehouse
As a New York native, Dr. Morehouse has always had a passion and love for animals. After being accepted into LMU-CVM inaugural class, Dr. Morehouse moved to Tennessee in 2014. Once graduating with her DVM in 2018, she started working at Russell Veterinary Services. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time on the lake, riding her horses, and competing in barrel racing.
Katelyn Vogel, DVM
Dr. Vogel is a 2024 graduate of Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from the Greater Cincinnati area, she has found a home in the Cumberland Gap region. Dr. Vogel has a special interest in ophthalmology and pain management. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.
APRIL KISHPAUGH
My name is April Kishpaugh, and I have been a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist at Russell Veterinary Services since 2005. I love seeing our patients grow and thrive in loving homes. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my little family, including my four puppies, reading, and being out in nature.
HAILEE LAMB
I am Hailee Lamb, and I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician. I received my degree from Lincoln Memorial University and have worked at Russell Veterinary Services since 2022. I strive to form a bond with my patients, in order to make them and their owners as comfortable as possible. I enjoy being with my family, friends and my chocolate Labrador, Ruger. I also enjoy riding motorcycles and spending time in the mountains.
LINDSEY YOAKUM
My name is Lindsey Yoakum, and I have worked as a Veterinary Technician at Russell Veterinary Services since 2021. I received my degree from Lincoln Memorial University. I consider myself an advocate for my patients, and I strive to provide comfort to both our clients and their pets. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, husband, and our two Australian Shepherds, Dolly and Jolene.
KAITLYN TAYLOR
I’m Kaitlyn Taylor, and I have worked as a Veterinary Technician/Receptionist at Russell Veterinary Services since 2019. I received my degree from Lincoln Memorial University. I love working with animals and have six dogs myself: Nellie, Sadie, Blue, Maggie, Zippy, and Belle. Outside of work, I enjoy being with my family and dogs. I love to read, spend time outdoors, and enjoy both watching and playing basketball and football.
MACKENZIE GRIFFIN
I am MacKenzie Griffin, and I have worked as a Veterinary Technician/Receptionist at Russell Veterinary Services since 2022. I received my degree from Lincoln Memorial University. I enjoy working with animals, and I have a Red Heeler named Gypsy.
EMMA MOYERS
I’m Emma Moyers, and I have been a Veterinary Assistant at Russell Veterinary Services since 2023. I currently attend Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. I pride myself in doing everything possible to keep our patients calm and happy in the time they spend with us. I myself have a cat named Mr. Cat and a newly adopted dog named Frannie. Outside of work, I enjoy farming, spending time with family and friends, and doing anything that involves being outdoors.
PAUL PAINTER
My name is Paul Painter, and I have been a Veterinary Assistant at Russell Veterinary Services since 2012. I pride myself on treating our patients and clients with professionalism, patience, and compassion. I have six Chihuahuas and one Collie: Avy, Melva, Morgan, Willis, Sheamus, Ishmael, and Cora.
STACIE BAIRD
I am Stacie Baird, and I am a Receptionist at Russell Veterinary Services. I have worked at the clinic since 2008. I treat our patients and clients with caring and understanding; I consider them our family. I love spending time with my husband, Chance, and our grandkids, AnnaMae, Madison, Carly, and Issac. My family enjoys working outside and spending time with our many dogs, cats, a gecko, and a turtle.
CHERYL CLAWSON
My name is Cheryl Clawson, and I have worked as a Veterinary Technician/Receptionist at Russell Veterinary Services since 2007. I received my degree from Lincoln Memorial University and have worked in the veterinary field for twenty-five years. I utilize my technical skills to support our veterinarians and advocate for our patients’ health by providing compassionate care. I have five dogs: Mossy, RJ, Panda, Buddy, and Molly, and also horses and cattle. I enjoy spending time with family, gardening, and canning.
